Winter temperatures will be above normal, with the coldest periods in early December and early January. Precipitation and snowfall will be above normal, with the snowiest periods in late November, mid-January, and early and late February. April and May temperatures will be near normal, while precipitation will be above normal in the north and below south. Summer will be warmer and drier than normal, with the hottest periods in early and mid-June in the north and early August everywhere. Watch for a hurricane threat in late August. September and October will be cooler and slightly drier than normal.
