Planet Pluto is a predominant player right now. I realize that this particular planet is small but its impact is actually monumental. Its discovery coincided with the discovery of the atom bomb (which was exploded with plutonium). I feel that a planet’s uncovering often ushers into humanity something new. An atom bomb can bring about profound change.
It takes Pluto 248 years to round the Sun. Its orbit is different than the other planets so it has varying lengths of time that it remains in any sign. This is approximately from 14 to 30 years.

Right now, Pluto is getting ready to realign with the same positioning it had at the birth of the U.S.A. (July 4, 1776). Astrologically, this is known as a Pluto return. Because of this, we are experiencing deep, profound change.

Because Pluto is such a slow moving planet, we will often experience its passage over a number of years. Like its namesake God, Pluto makes us travel through the underground of death and rebirth. Old systems that have outlived their usefulness will be put to the test. Anything that is overextended is likely going to fray.

In my opinion, the best way to handle this powerful transit is with self-reliance. It’s time to reconnect with neighbors, utilize local businesses and form interconnected communities. Share with others the talents that you posses and find out the abilities of those around you. Support the local farmers as well. Turn off the computer and TV for at least part of the day and go outside and find some way to commune with Nature.
