Question of the Day
Why is it that wind makes a “whistling” noise as it blows “through” the windows when it is very cold outside, but it makes no sound when it is warm?
It’s the wind speed that causes the whistling, not the temperature. Strong, even gale-force, winds are far more likely to occur during the winter, when it is cold. Warm weather usually brings gentler breezes—and open windows!
